In work schedules, you define employees' contracted working hours. These are displayed in the schedule and serve as the basis for flex time calculation.
Click on ⚙️ at the top right corner and then on Work hour schedule under Scheduling.
Click on + Add at the right top corner, fill in the fields and save the schedule.
- Title: The name of the template
- Schedule length (days): The lenght of the schedule in days before it repeats itself
- Full time (hours): The amount of hours corresponding to full time for the schedule length(days) chosen.
- Working holidays: Decides whether the schedule should include working holidays or not.
Tip! In order for it to take the working holidays into account you will have to enable them in Timezynk. You can do this by clicking on the ⚙️ at the top right hand corner and navigating to Company Profile. Choose the country you live in under Holidays country and click Save. Then go back to the ⚙️ and navigate to Holidays under Scheduling, make sure to update the page to be able to review the holidays. Be sure to review these so that they match any collective agreements you may have.
- Employment Ratio: The percent will vary based on what you have set as Full time (hours) and how many days and hours you enter in the fields below.
- Hours and breaks: Edit the time fields by clicking the clock or manually filling in the hours. For each day there is a + Add for breaks, deducting from total work hours.
After creating a template for work hour schedule you can start connecting it to your employees on their profiles.
Start with clicking on Users in the main menu. Then click on one of the user's names and go into the tab Work hours schedule.
Click on + Add and choose the following:
- The date the work hours schedule will begin on
- The template for work hours schedule (in case you have more than one)
- The day from the template that shoudl be considered to be the first working day
Save your settings and you are done!
